This was an existing painting I did of the fighter pilot earlier in by blog, here is the new extended version. I extended the cockpit and added clouds to give it more perspective. Also made correction to the pilots suit, mask, helmet.

Did this painting in two days of Ripley fighting the queen alien with the power loader. Did it entirely on Photoshop. I painted it per my daughters request.

Buzz Aldrin with Flag

This is an enhancement of a painting I did many years ago, When I first did it, it was done with gouache on illustration board. Took a photo of it and cleaned it up on Photoshop. I tilted the astronaut forward, touched up his suit, made the flag larger and re colored the moon background.

Buzz Aldrin

This is a clean up of a painting I did of Astronaut Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin when I was about 17 maybe 18, I took a photo of the original painting and corrected it in Photoshop. You can make out Neil Armstrong's reflection in his visor. Apollo space program fascinated me. I will have more to come soon.

One of 2009's Employee of the Year along with me at my work "Universal Studios Hollywood" Chef Cooper is quite a character, so I made a characature of him. During the ceremony, he kept pulling items out of his chef hat as you see above. I took his pick from our company newsletter and went to town. Of course I spelled his name wrong on the drawing. Oh well.

Star Wars VI

Best movie experiance of my life was when me and my brother went to see "Return of the Jedi" on opening weekend. The theater was so packed that people were sitting and standing in the isles and on the floor in front of the screen. As soon as Darth Vader made his appearance stepping out of his shuttle, the audience went nuts, everyone jumped up cheering, whistling and applauding. Never again did I have the same experiance with any other movie. I did this painting of pricess Leia disguised as bounty hunter Boussh back when I was about 17 yrs old. The original painting was flat and lifeless, I scanned it and enhanced it in Photoshop.

T-Shirt Design

This is a design I put together for my department BBQ T-Shirt. It had to incorporate the new King kong 3D attraction, Universals new movie release for the Summer "Dispicable Me" and the theme of the BBQ was to be the 80's. So I threw in some items from the 80's such as Rubix Cube, Michael Jackson and Divo. Lots of fun with this one and our department loved it.

work in progress. I sketched this one in pen (bottom), then painted it in Photoshop (top). The pen one was way off, but in Photoshop I was able to correct the mistakes. I will add in the background in later, Did this one for my daughters since they loved the movie as did everyone. will update this when background is done. Hope you like it. The most challenging for this piece was capturing his expression. Just need to tilt his head back a little more for the full effect.

One of the best alien SiFi of all time. I saw this movie for the first time back in the early 80's, and still love it to this day. The top scene is the damaged android medical officer "Ash" being questioned by Ripley. It was a real challenge painting the milk substance on his face and to make it look like it's oozing out of his mouth. This second scene is where the captain is taken by surprise in the ships air ducks, made me jump out of my seat. Both were done on sketch paper then painted on PhotoShop. I learned allot from doing these two pieces. Hope you enjoy them.

American Werewolf in London". I'm just in awe every time

I see this movie. See it if you get the chance, you won't be

I really got into Air Force illustration since my dad used to work for Northrop Grumman back in the late 70's to I think the mid 90's. My dad is an amaizing artist. Jaw dropping art.
